Martin, mi hai deluso..
Seguo da tempo il blog, i video di Martin Varsavsky, un venture capitalist che vive in spagna ma ha investimenti in tutto il mondo, famoso per il network fon. Sono anch’io un fonero, peraltro.
Con il post “Honesty as a comparative advantage: Italy vs Spain” mi ha proprio deluso. E’ chiaramente un post scritto di pancia, ma neanche tanto se l’ha ri-scritto anche in spagnolo. (Ho il sospetto che poi il post è stato successivamente “addolcito”).
Come si fa a confrontare l’onestà degli italiani con gli spagnoli, insinuando che l’italiani sono disonesti? E per cosa? Perchè è stato “fregato” per l’ormeggio in una boa a Cala di Volpe (dove attraccano tutti i VIPs d’Europa), peraltro con con servizi tecnologici avanzati e per aver acquistato una bottiglietta di acqua minerale nella piazzetta di Porto Cervo per 50€?
Secondo me se l’è cercata. Evidentemente non è povero se ha una barca con cui ha scorrazzato il mediterraneo e se ha voluto andare nei posti “consigliati”.
Ma il paragone italo-spagnolo, includere la politica e l’economia dei due paesi, è stato del tutto fuori-luogo. Evidenzia la sua ignoranza dei luoghi, della loro economia (Porto Cervo non è certo paragonabile alla Sardegna) e alle regole dei posti dove è stato.
E’ come se BT avesse comprato FON, Martin avesse fatto un buon affare, ma poi BT pubblicamente avesse detto che Martin è disonesto perchè ha pagato troppo FON; e noi tutti a spiegare che non tutti i venture capitalist sono disonesti.
Chissà cosa ne pensa Stefano Vitta, italian country manager di Fon.
