Attenzione a non cadere nella trappola di chi non ha tempo/voglia/opportunità di fare esami e quindi minimizzare l’impegno degli altri.
Certo ci sono scappatoie, ma chi passa molti esami è escluso che si “sveni” comprando tutti i testkings sul mercato: è tutta capacità/esperienza e aver applicato un metodo di studio/lavoro che funziona. Se poi sono tutti esami in beta, i vari dumps non ci sono ancora..
“La certificazione fa brodo”.
Serve ai professionisti per approfondire una tecnologia nuova o su cui andranno a lavorare.
Serve alle persone per “riempire” il curriculum. Su questo argomento ci mettiamo i vari neodiplomati che frequentano i corsi di formazione e, come esame finale, c’è la certificazione o un percorso di certificazione e ci mettiamo chi costruisce ad arte una propria competenza mirata (non sullo stesso piano, certo).
Serve al mondo della formazione come volano anche per giustificare l’investimento in formazione dei dipendenti delle aziende o per ricevere sovvenzioni regionali/europee.. 
Serve alle aziende per dimostrare competenza come fornitori ed anche per vincere le gare d’appalto pubbliche: le certificazioni sono spesso requisito o comunque fanno punteggio di merito.
Per fortuna gli esami di certificazione Microsoft stanno diventando meno da “reference guide” e più da casi d’uso e pian piano vedrete che l’alone che non servano, sparirà..

Oggi questo update è opzionale ma da giugno 2006 diverrà permanente su windowsupdate. Il tutto è dovuto alla causa persa da Microsoft per un brevetto software.
Ma chi è che usa ancora activex sulle pagine web? Non dovrebbero tutti convertirsi a scrivere siti con standard w3c?
Quasi tutte le radio si possono sentire in streaming e son nate molte webtv e tutte avranno questo problema: usano l’activex di Media Player, che andrà attivato secondo la nuova modalità.

i might have a unique perspective having seen 3 different groups now. the main thing is to contribute to the community. haven’t been around that long, but it used to be mainly through newsgroup participation. since then, it’s been opened up (e.g. i don’t newsgroup that much). now you can get in through a # of different means : forums, blogs, user groups, author, web casts, etc… you can do this as either a developer or supporting end users. my niche is to try and provide mid to advanced developer articles with code. but the main thing is to help build/support the community. if you are a total stud and know everything about a technology, but don’t share … then you won’t be an MVP. but it’s not just about quantity, quality also matters. i’ve seen some MVPs that answer a TON of basic questions, and others that contribute less but take on harder problems. but that still doesn’t mean you will get in … because your contributions have to be noticed (i.e. there were a couple of years where i thought that i had a chance, but didn’t get in). and this is just one instance of where each group is entirely different. i’ve seen groups where the product groups handle it. another group asked the existing MVPs who they thought deserved it. and another group was entirely silent on the matter … i have no clue what they did? and if you are contributing, then your name will eventually come up. but getting your foot in the door is definitely the hardest part. once in, you can definitely be dropped, but it seems easier to get renewed.

Sembra come un programma politico (scegliete voi lo schieramento): non si capisce quel’è il merito ed il metodo. mah!
