Sure, it’s not nHibernate, and nHibernate is free; but honestly the complexity of nHibernate is much more of a cost versus the simplicity and obviousness of WORM (and the attendant cost savings). I know it has saved me an hour or two… what is that in today’s consulting rates?

Webcast di oggi su MSF 4.0 (per architetti)
Oggi ho assistito al webcast su MSF 4.0 del bravo ed eloquente Lorenzo Barbieri, partecipato da almeno una trentina di “architetti”. Un bel numero per l’argomento e per i destinatari del webcast, specie se confrontato con le 12 persone al webcast sulla programmazione del Media Center di ieri, fatta da Daniele… 
In Italia la dimensione della maggior parte delle aziende di consulenza e di prodotti software “costringe” ad indossare più cappelli :-S
Durante il webcast è stata chiesta la dimensione del team di sviluppo ai partecipanti: un 60% fa parte di un team da 2 fino a 5 persone, mentre un 6% da 5 a 10 persone. Nessuno oltre le 50..
Se da un lato è possibile personalizzare una metodologia come MSF, ho sempre trovato difficoltà nell’applicarle e soprattutto trasmetterle, vuoi per pigrizia (anche mia), vuoi per ignoranza o paraculite..
Ma la dimensione dei teams, la brevità dei tempi di sviluppo e di deploy dei progetti, non sempre giustificano l’effort per l’adozione di una metodologia e l’inserimento nel gantt di progetto delle attività necessarie alla sua realizzazione.
Speriamo nell’aiuto di TFS..
